Terms of sale
Updated October 29, 2026
These are the terms you are agreeing to when you order from My Valentine Floral Design. They describe how ordering works, what we promise, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Prices and ordering
Every price on this site is in Canadian dollars, before tax. GST and PST are added at checkout, including on the delivery fee, and you see the total before you pay. Gift cards carry no tax when you buy them. Delivery is charged separately and is shown before you pay, never after.
An order is placed when you complete checkout, and confirmed when you get the confirmation email. If we cannot make what you ordered on the day you asked for, we will phone or email you rather than substitute silently at a scale you would not recognise.
Flowers are not a catalogue
This is the most important thing on this page, so it is near the top.
Anne buys every stem in through a trusted premium wholesaler, and what is available changes every week. The arrangements on this site describe a size, a palette and a character. They are not a promise that a specific stem will be in your bouquet on a specific day.
So we substitute. If the dahlias that week are not good enough to send, something of equal value and in keeping with the arrangement goes in instead. This is normal florist practice and it is the reason the flowers are worth buying: the alternative is sending you a stem that matches a photograph and does not deserve to be in a vase.
If a specific flower genuinely matters, for a colour scheme or because it meant something to somebody, tell us before you order. Phone rather than leaving it in the notes. Anne will say honestly whether she can get it.
The photographs
Photographs on this site show the style and scale of an arrangement, not the exact stems you will receive. See the section above. Arrangements are made by hand, one at a time, and no two are identical.
Delivery
We deliver six days a week. There is never a Sunday run.
- Allan is free.
- Zelma is $10.
- Colonsay, Elstow, Young and Bradwell are $15.
- Watrous, Manitou Beach and Clavet are $23.
- Saskatoon is $33.
- Anywhere else is quoted by phone before you pay, never guessed.
Same-day delivery is available in every zone above except Saskatoon, if the order is placed before 11:00 am. Same-day delivery is available when the flowers are in the studio. If they aren’t, we’ll call you. Saskatoon is a next-day run, so the earliest is tomorrow. The site tells you which day it is going out before you pay, and the day it names is the day we are working to.
Rural addresses in Saskatchewan are legal land descriptions rather than street addresses. Give us the land description and a phone number, or text Anne a map pin, and we will find it.
If nobody is home
Anne works out the delivery time and place with the recipient, and does not set out until she has confirmed with them. If she cannot reach them, she contacts you, and the two of you settle on another day or a refund.
Flowers left outside in a Saskatchewan winter do not survive it, so in cold weather we will not leave an arrangement unattended.
Getting the address right
We deliver to the address you give us. If the address you gave us is wrong, the flowers cannot be refunded. If they can still reach the right address the same day, we will take them there for a second delivery fee. If the recipient refuses the flowers, we cannot refund them. Check the address before you pay, particularly the unit or apartment number.
Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Every order is paid in full when it is placed, never on delivery or after.
Changing or cancelling an order
Reach us before 11:00 am on the day before delivery and we can change or cancel anything, including the date, the address and the card message, and a cancelled order is refunded in full.
After that the flowers are conditioned, the arrangement is being made and the run is planned, so we may not be able to cancel without charge. Phone rather than email if it is close to the day. Anne would rather talk it through than find out afterwards.
Subscriptions are prepaid, and the run is set once it starts. If something comes up, phone Anne.
If something arrives wrong
Phone Anne. Not a form, not a ticket.
If an arrangement arrives damaged or wilted, or is not what was ordered, send us a photograph of the whole arrangement with the problem in it. We need the photograph to replace or refund it, and it is replaced or refunded that week. Telling us quickly helps, because we cannot judge a bouquet a fortnight after it was delivered.
Cut flowers are perishable and how long they last depends on how they are looked after: fresh water every second day, a vase away from a sunny windowsill, and away from ripening fruit. Care instructions come with every arrangement.
Sympathy, wedding and event work
Sympathy arrangements are delivered to the funeral home and set in place. Tell us the service time and we work backwards from it. If a service is this afternoon, phone rather than ordering online.
Wedding and event work is quoted individually and is not covered by these terms. It runs on its own written quote and its own arrangements, agreed before anything is booked.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for the flowers: for making what you ordered, for the condition it arrives in, and for getting it to the address you gave us on the day we said. If we get that wrong, see above.
We are not responsible for things outside our control, which in this province mainly means weather. A blizzard closes the highway and the run does not happen. If that happens we will phone you, and you choose between the next available day and a refund.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and of Canada.
Getting in touch
The phone number and email address at the foot of this page reach Anne. For anything urgent, or anything to do with a funeral, phone.
