What happens before it reaches you

Every stem goes through Anne's own five-point processing procedure before it is arranged: up to 24 hours of nutrition, hydration and rest, with whatever else it needs (sun, warmth, cool or dark), so the flowers last longer and stay more vibrant.

How it is conditioned, as one day

  1. 10:00

    Anne personally chooses amazing stock

Wholesaler · 1 hr Anne chooses from the week's availability list, then looks through the wholesaler's cooler herself for stems at just the right stage. Too tight and it never opens, too open and it is over too soon.
  2. 12:00

    Stripped, cleaned and washed

Bench · 90 min Every stem is stripped, cleaned and washed before it goes near a vase, so it is free of debris, residue and bacteria. It lasts longer and looks its best.
  3. 13:30

Each type of stem fed, hydrated and given what it needs to flourish

3 hrs Flowers travel dry. A fresh diagonal cut opens the stem so it can drink again, and each type is given the right mix of floral food and the right temperature before it goes anywhere near a design.
  4. 16:30

Rested before it is ready to design with

Walk-in cooler · overnight Where she can, flowers rest for up to 24 hours before anything is arranged with them, with whatever else each stem needs: sun, warmth, cool or dark.
  5. Next day
    08:00

Checked, and excited to start designing

Anything that is not at its best comes out and goes in the shop bucket. You do not get it, and you are not charged for it.

If something arrives wrong, Anne wants the phone call.

Not a form and not a ticket. She would rather hear about it than not.
